Disciple of the unknowable, midwife of soul, student of bewilderment, holder of silence, shelter for what is tender and shy and still forming, fellow traveller, guide through sensorial landscapes of what is and what wants to be. Artist, poet, dancer, mystic, mother, grandmother, soul friend, deep listener, companion, thread follower, seeker of possibility, lover of impossibility, empty spaces, and all that is curious and wild. I feel at home in the dark listening for the whispers, songs, stories, and dreams that emerge from the wilderness of in-between places. However minuscule in the larger scheme of things, without hesitation I am devoted to answering the call of our future ancestors in whatever ways I am able.
I graduated from Middle Way Acupuncture Institute with a masters level diploma in acupuncture. I am certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as a Diplomate of Acupuncture, and licensed by the state of Washington as a Practitioner of Acupuncture. Since 2019 I have studied Alchemical Acupuncture and its Inner Traditions extensively with Lorie Eve Dechar.
I am a seasoned practitioner of the healing arts with over two decades of practice and study, while deepening the sacred work of my own inner journey. Traditional Chinese Medicine is the foundation from which my work continuously evolves. I approach each session intuitively and creatively, drawing upon many traditions. My patients appreciate the benefits they have received from the heart-centered depth of presence, dedication and diverse approach with which I tend the healing journey. I have extensive experience with treating psycho-spiritual issues, complex conditions, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, digestive issues, hormonal issues, chronic and acute pain, immune disorders, fatigue, and more.
Since the initial call to healing in my early twenties I have explored many traditions including psychotherapy, somatic movement practices, meditation, Reiki, indigenous wisdom, mythology, diverse spiritual teachings, massage therapy, advanced craniosacral therapy, authentic movement, 5 Rhythms dance, yoga, and more.
Though it all, the creative process informs all aspects of my healing work. Painting, sculpting, carving, and writing have been instrumental to the honing of my skills in presence, patience, trust, surrender and discipline. A deep, lifelong love and communion with the natural world—including the ways in which the other-than human world teaches, guides and nourishes all life—grounds and enlivens the ever-unfolding process of discovering more about what it means to be human in harmony with all life.
As I open further to the spontaneity of existence coming to know itself through each of us, I am deeply humbled by the dedication of my patients, who are among my greatest teachers, along with my two adult children, my partner David, and my wonderfully spirited grandson whose questions lead me ever-forward into an unknowable future with and enduring fire in my heart for creating a world that works for all beings everywhere.
